Remembrance Walk/Run @ Chastain Park – Date TBD
Each year we gather together to pay tribute to the 32 students and faculty members who were tragically taken from their loved ones and our VT community on April 16, 2007. The Atlanta Hokies will be meeting again this year to remember our fellow Hokies. Stay tuned for more information, date, time and place. We will provide water and light refreshments. Feel free to bring your family, friends and pets and be sure to wear lots of orange and maroon.
This is a free event, but we will be collecting donations for our Atlanta Chapter scholarship fund which provides money to local Atlanta area students that are starting their journey at Virginia Tech in the fall. Your $20 donation gets you a 3.2 for 32 t-shirt.

Atlanta Hokies 2022 Football Game Watching

It’s that time of year again! We will be hosting the 2017 Hokie Holiday Party at the Buckhead home of our fellow Atlanta Hokies, George and Cindy Rees. Dinner will be potluck style, so bring along a side-dish to share and your favorite adult beverage. The chapter will provide the main proteins (ham and turkey) and drinks. There’s a pool table indoors, and outside we’ll have the fire pit going along with all the essentials to make s’mores.

Atlanta Hokies Holiday Party
Join us for our annual Holiday Party in December! This event, as in years past, will be potluck style. We provide the main dish (turkey/ham), and we ask that you bring a side dish or dessert to share with your Hokie family (creativity is encouraged so we don’t end up with a bunch of the same side items or desserts). We also have the non-adult beverages covered, so feel free to bring along your beer or wine of choice.

Remembrance Walk – 3.2 for 32
Every year, we celebrate and honor the lives of our Hokie family lost on April 16th with a Remembrance Walk around Chastain Park. We meet in the picnic area at the park. Look for the orange and maroon balloons to guide you to the start. Light snacks and water will be provided. We will also be collecting donations for the April 16th Memorial Fund.
Atlanta Hokie Holiday Party
One of our BEST events of the year – The Atlanta Hokie Holiday Party is right around the corner. Get into the holiday spirit with your fellow Hokies. This event, as in years past will be a Potluck Style party – we’ll provide the main dishes (Turkey & Ham) – and we ask you to bring an appetizer, side dish or desert to share. We will also be provide a limited amount of beer and wine, but we encourage you to bring a drink of choice. Please be sure RSVP via E-mail (AtlantaVTAA@gmail.com) or on Facebook (via the event) so that we know how much Turkey and Ham to provide.
