All you young Alumni out there should have received an invite from the university for our upcoming event. Next Wednesday, the Atlanta Hokies, along with our Alumni Association “home office” will be hosting a Young Alumni night at Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead!

Join us next Wednesday night from 6pm-8pm for a mixer with other young alumni and university representatives. And don’t forget your business card for a chance to win Hokie Prizes!

Game-Watching Location Survey

Many of you reached out to us this season regarding Hudson Grille Brookhaven. While we know that there may be no perfect location, we are certainly aware of the many issues that arose during our game-watching parties. The Alumni Board had our own issues behind the scenes, and since we want the BEST possible experience for all alumni, we are currently reevaluating our partnership with this location. That being said, we still need your help!! We have created a quick, 10 question survey for each of you to fill out so we can get a better feel for what’s most important.

It was another sad day in Blacksburg last week when Officer Crouse lost his life in a pointless act of cruelty. Students at the university have set up a memorial fund in honor of Officer Crouse and to help his family in the years to come (he leaves behind his wife and 5 children).
